Manage P3 Access
Managing access to the P3 service ensures that only authorized users can view and/or edit your service configurations. P3 offers its:
- API keys to manage P3 API access.
- Password settings to manage or change your current P3 password.
Change Password
- Log in to your PhotonIQ Performance Proxy dashboard.
- Click your user icon in the upper right corner, then click Settings.
- In the Current Password field, enter your current password.
- In the New Password field, enter your new password.
- Click Change Password.
Manage API keys
API keys help you to manage and interact with the P3 REST APIs.
Create New API Key
- Log in to your P3 dashboard.
- Click your user icon in the upper right corner, then click Settings.
- Click New API Key.
- In the Key ID field, enter the name of the key. Ensure it has no spaces and includes no special characters except underscores or hyphens.
- In the Key Role field, select the user role to assign to the key: Viewer or Editor.
- Click Submit. This displays your new API key

Be sure to save this API key somewhere safe as it won't be visible once you close the window.
Delete API Keys
Perform the following steps to delete an API key.
- Log in to your PhotonIQ Performance Proxy dashboard.
- Click your user icon in the upper right corner, then click Settings.
- Click Delete API Key.
- In the Key ID field, enter the ID of the key that you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
