Here are some optimization strategies used by P3:
Bundling web files
Bundling multiple files into a single file reduces HTTP requests to the origin server, reducing server workload and response wait times and enhancing page load efficiency by streamlining file downloading and parsing. Furthermore, browser caching is more effective with subsequent requests, improving performance and allowing for better compression ratios for code files.
Defer JS
This optimization delays loading and Javascript execution until specific conditions are met, for example, after fully parsing the HTML document. It defers on-essential scripts to ensure the browser's rendering path remains unblocked, allowing the visual elements to load without delay and significantly improving the perceived load time. This technique is beneficial for scripts not required for the initial page view, such as analytics or third-party widgets, thus prioritizing essential content and interactions.
